Happy Leap Year!

And a belated happy Valentine's! I had a great Valentine's - on Friday night my Sunday school class had a potluck dinner with the widows group that we help serve. It was delicious and a joy to visit and play games with the ladies. And we even gave them each a bag of homemade cookies and a rose as the left for the evening. What a blessing to be able to bless others!

The rest of the month has gone along. Work has been a chore day after day, but I keep at it. Today has been particularly frustrating - more complaints from the problem employee I inherited. I'm just glad it's Friday and I'm going home for the weekend in less than two hours!

We are actually having a make-your-own-pizza and game night tonight and I'm hoping my energy level will pick back up when I'm in a better environment, because I want to have a good time and enjoy my friends, but right now I'm exhausted.

The best news of all is that Mom and Dad are home on US soil!! I think they are almost over the jet lag and have already been busy accomplishing all the things that need doing so they can hit the road. They've got a phone, the computers are ready to go, they picked up their new van yesterday and it supposedly has it all!! Mom said they are going to start organizing and repacking tomorrow as she wants to have it done before the shipment from Thailand arrives.

A couple weeks ago I got 3 dresses cut out and also made a trip to Jo-Ann's Etc. to get some sewing supplies (thread, zippers, ribbon) and some yarn - I have several baby afghans to be working on. Tomorrow I intend to cut out 2 more dresses and some pairs of pants and begin sewing some new clothes! I'm looking forward to it.

I finished some pillows for a friend and I'm going to crochet an afghan for another friend so I'm keeping busy. I've also finished 3 audio books in the last 2 weeks and look forward to some more this weekend. Well I guess that's about all I know for now. I need to wrap up the week. Have a great weekend all!
